Jon Bon Jovi lists Soho duplex for $42 million

Jon Bon Jovi is trying to unload his spectacular 7,400-square-foot Soho duplex for $42 million, about $18 million more than he paid for the Mercer Street property just before the real estate crash in 2007.

The listing on Zillow.com showcases two enormous entertaining spaces with wood-burning fireplaces and dining areas, a master bedroom suite with a wall of arched windows, and a Zen garden on one of three terraces. There are four other bedrooms, each with its own bath, two chef’s kitchens and a private screening room with projection room, most done up in dark woods and rich neutrals.

The condo is in the New Museum Building, a pre-war landmarked building on a cobblestone street, with expansive views. TheRealEstalker.com has some photos from before the sale to Bon Jovi, in case you’re interested in seeing whether his upgrades warrant the $18 million bounce.
